I am probably no different than you. I have experienced hurt, suffering and woundedness in my life. But I have also had many comforts, known joy, and found love and an abundance of other blessings. I choose to be a glass half-full person. No matter what my current situation seems to be, I can always look around and find someone who has a deeper need than myself.
I have come to realize that whatever happens in my life is there for a reason. Frequently, I am able to extract insights from the roads I have traveled. Sometimes I find that there are others who are on a similar journey and, once in awhile, our stories get shared. It is not always the journey itself but the lessons from the journey that are important. I am always grateful when God enables me to use these journey lessons to help others. It is a blessing to be able to do that on a personal basis, but that is not always possible. In those circumstances I have been told that one of the gifts I have been given is the ability to inspire others through my writings.
I have a strong sense of servanthood, and I am at a place in my life where I am searching for new directions – different ways to serve than I have in the past. That is the purpose of this blog: to share insights from the journey with you in ways that I pray will give you a source for hope and encouragement.
I choose to do this anonymously. After all – it’s not about me. It’s about what He has revealed to me and my fellow sojourners in this thing called Life.
